[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시 보건소가 관내 임산부 대상으로 영양제 지원사업을 대폭 확대하여 추진한다고 밝혔다.

기존에는 관내 주소를 둔 임산부를 대상으로 보건소에 임산부 등록을 할 경우 비타민d, 종합영양제를 1회를 지급해 왔지만, 올해부터는 출산 축하선물 및 돌 축하선물 지급 시 비타민d를 추가 지급하기로 했으며, 보건소 임산부 기초검사 결과 비타민d 수치가 낮을 경우 비타민d를 제공하고, 또한 보건소 등록 임산부가 민간 의료시설에서 산전검사를 받았을 경우 산전검사 결과지를 제출할 경우에도 비타민d를 받을 수 있다고 했다.

동두천시 보건소장은 “다양한 모자보건 정책을 수립하여 출산 친화적인 환경을 조성하고자 하며, 이번 사업 확대를 통해 임신부와 태아의 건강 증진에 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 밝혔다.
