[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3월 16일, 의정부시는 스마트 기술을 활용해 취약계층의 고독사를 예방하고 취약계층의 안부를 확인하는 의정부 살피미 앱을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

의정부 살피미 앱은 지정한 시간 동안 휴대폰 사용이 없거나 문자‧통화 송수신 내역이 없는 경우, 사전에 등록한 전화번호로 위험신호 문자를 발송하며, 보호자와 주민센터 담당자는 전화 연락이나 소방서, 경찰서 등과 협력해 방문 확인 등의 조치를 취하고 상황에 따라 맞춤형 복지 서비스를 연계한다고 전했다.

이 앱은 경남 합천군에서 개발해 희망 지자체에 무상 배포한 것으로 경기도에서는 의정부시가 최초로 도입했고, 따라서 예산 절감의 효과도 누릴 수 있으며, 장기화 되고 있는 코로나19 및 스마트 비대면 시대에 유용한 돌봄서비스가 될 것으로 기대한다고 했다.
