[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 지역사회 내의 취약계층 및 맞벌이 가정의 방과 후 돌봄 공백을 최소화하기 위해 의정부시 돌봄 공백 아동 Zero 프로젝트를 추진한다고 밝혔다.

본 사업은 돌봄 필요아동 발굴 및 적합한 지역 돌봄기관 연계 서비스 제공을 위해 지역사회복지사가 1:1 상담을 통해 맞춤형 돌봄서비스를 지원하는 사업이라고 했다.

지역아동센터, 다함께돌봄센터, 초등학교 돌봄 등의 기관 돌봄, 개별 가정의 특성 및 아동발달을 고려해 아동의 집에서 돌봄서비스를 제공하는 아이돌봄, 유관기관의 아동 관련 프로그램 연계 등으로 개별 상황에 맞는 차별화된 서비스 제공이 가능할 것으로 기대되며, 지역사회 내 돌봄이 필요한 아동이 있다면 의정부시청 여성가족과 지역사회복지사에게 문의하면 된다고 전했다.

안병용 의정부시장은 “지역사회 유관기관과 협력해 돌봄 서비스를 비롯한 다양한 자원 연계를 통해 우리 시의 돌봄 공백 제로화에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
