[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군은 오는 16일부터 10월 31일까지 군민들의 건강통계를 생산하고 지역주민의 건강증진을 위해 '지역사회건강조사'를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

지역사회 건강조사는 지역주민의 건강행태(음주, 흡연, 식생활 등) 및 고혈압, 당뇨병과 같은 만성질환의 이환, 의료이용, 삶의 질 등을 조사한다. 

조사대상은 표본가구 가구원 중 만 19세 이상 성인 전체이고, 조사대상 900가구를 목표로 조사원이 표본가구를 직접 방문해 1:1 면접조사를 이용해 실시한다. 

지역적 특성을 고려하여 전문가들이 통계적인 방법에 따라 조사대상 가구를 무작위로 선정하며, 선정된 가구에는 시작 전 우편을 통해 가구 선정통지서가 발송된다. 

코로나19 재유행에 대비하여 가평군 지역사회건강조사 조사원 6명의 코로나19 바이러스 검사를 사전 진행하고 조사원은 손소독 및 마스크 착용, 거리두기, 조사수행 전 체온측정 및 이상증상을 확인하는 등 안전한 조사수행을 위해 최선을 다하는 중이다. 

조사결과는 조사 완료 후 다음 해 3월에 주요결과가 발표되며 4월에 지역사회건강조사누리집을 통해 시도 및 시군구 단위 조사결과를 확인할 수 있다. 

지역사회건강조사 관계자는 "주민참여로 생산된 지역사회건강통계는 지역에 꼭 필요한 보건사업을 수립하고 평가하는데 적극 활용되고 있으며, 지역사회에 꼭 필요한 건강정책을 지속적으로 수립해 지역의 건강수준을 향상 시킬 수 있도록 지역사회건강조사에 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다"고 전했다.
