[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 2월 15~16일, 제91차 한국관광학회 강원국제학술대회가 1박 2일의 일정으로 평창 알펜시아리조트에서 개최된다고 밝혔다.

(사)한국관광학회, 강원도, 평창군이 공동 주최하고 문화체육관광부, 한국관광공사 등이 후원하는 이번 학술대회는 ‘위드 코로나, 강원도 뉴노멀 관광의 비전과 전략’을 주제로 진행되고, 대회는 2일 동안 개회식과 연구 논문 발표, 주제별 세션, 대학생 및 대학원생 관광 아이디어 공모전 등으로 구성되며, 특히 이번 대회에서는 강원도와 평창군의 미래 관광 비전과 활성화 방안을 모색하는 특별 세션이 운영될 예정이라고 전했다. 

특히 코로나19 이후, ICT, 언택트, K-방역, MZ세대 등의 키워드를 중심으로 뉴노멀 시대를 맞이한 지역관광 분야의 활성화와 관련된 국내･외 전문가들의 다양한 이슈들이 논의될 것으로 보여 기대를 모으고 있으며, 코로나19 상황을 고려해, 개･폐회식 등 행사는 최소한의 규모로 이루어지며 코로나 확산 방지를 위한 방역지침을 철저히 준수할 방침이라고 했다.
