[남상훈 기자 = 강원] 속초시가 고품질 쌀 생산을 위한 벼 병해충 공동방제를 추진한다. 공동방제를 위한 신청서는 오는 6월 10일(금)까지 접수받을 예정이다.

이번 사업은 드론을 이용한 공동방제를 통해 고온기 벼 도열병·문고병·돌발해충에 대한 병해충 방제효율을 높이고, 농약 중독 방지, 농촌 일손 부족 문제 등 을 해소하기 위해 시행한다.

신청대상은 관내 벼 재배 농업인에 한하여 신청을 받으며 방제는 들녘별로 경작 농업인 참관 하에 7월부터 8월까지 실시할 예정이다.

신청은 농가가 신청서를 작성하여 경작지 마을 통장을 통하여 접수하거나 직접 농업기술센터 기술보급팀(☎033-639-2910)에 제출하면 된다.

속초시 관계자는“드론을 이용한 벼 병해충 공동방제를 통해 부족한 농촌의 일손부족 완화와 벼 생산량 증가를 통한 농촌소득 증가에 도움이 되기를 바란다.”라고 밝혔다.
