이날 양주시는 산불 발생에 따른 진화자원 배치, 상황전파, 현장통제와 임차 산불진화헬기를 이용한 공중 진화, 산불진화차와 산불진화기계화시스템을 이용한 지상진화 훈련을 성공적으로 마무리했다.

양주시 관계자는 “이번 훈련을 통해 대형산불의 위험성을 체감하며 산불진화 관계기관 간의 유기적 공조체계를 더욱 단단히 구축할 수 있게 됐다”며 “가을철 산불 발생에 신속히 대응할 수 있도록 진화인력과 장비를 수시로 정비하고 산불재난 대응 태세 확립에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
