이번 공모 주제는 횡성한우의 가치와 횡성한우축제의 비전을 통합해서 함축적으로 담아낼 수 있는 간결한 문구, 횡성한우축제만의 스토리를 만드는 창의적인 문구, 횡성한우축제의 브랜드 가치를 높일 수 있는 문구이며, 제출된 작품은 전문성과 의미전달력, 창의성, 간결성 등을 고려해 전문가 심사를 거쳐 총 3점을 선정할 예정이며, 최우수작 1명에게는 50만원, 우수작 1명 30만원, 장려작 1명 20만원의 시상금(현금 및 상품권)이 지급된다고 했다.
