[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 14일, 청평면지역사회보장협의체는 청평면 저소득층을 대상으로 '떡만둣국 나눔' 사업을 추진하였다고 밝혔다. 

청평면 지사협 특화사업 '떡만두국 나눔 사업'은 복지사각지대에 있는 소외된 이웃을 관심과 사랑으로 보살피고 함께 나누면서 행복을 주는 나눔 복지 실현을 위한 사업이고, 청평면 지사협 위원들은 음식을 준비하여 복지대상자 50분을 방문하고 안부를 확인하였다고 했다.

사업에 선정된 어르신은 “찾아오는 이가 하나 없어 외롭고 쓸쓸했는데 이렇게 웃는 얼굴로 나를 보러 와주고 푸짐한 음식을 주셔서 마음이 따뜻해진다. 정말 감사하게 잘 먹겠다”며 고마운 마음을 전했다. 

양성남 민간공동위원장은 “지난 1년 동안 지역 내 복지대상자들을 찾아뵐 수 있어서 보람된 시간이었다. 내년에는 더 많은 분들을 뵙기를 바라며 살기 좋은 청평이 되도록 우리 지사협 위원들이 열심히 활동 하겠다”고 말했다.

안동석 청평면장은“추운 날씨에도 소외된 이웃을 위해 참여해주신 청평면지역사회보장협의체 위원분들께 진심으로 감사드리며 코로나19로 다들 힘드시겠지만 청평면내 모든 분들이 따뜻한 연말을 보내시길 바란다” 고 전했다.
