[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 8월 31일 횡성군은 도시재생사업의 일환으로 횡성읍 구리고개공유공간에서 2022년 청년-어르신 세대가 함께하는‘우리 구리마을 화합의날’행사가 열렸다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사는 구리고개 지역주민, 도시재생 청년참여단, 횡성 관내 청년, 송호대학교 산학협력단 관계자 등 30여 명이 참여해 구리고개 마을 주민들과 청년들이 하나 되는 즐겁고 다채로운 행사가 이뤄졌다.

주요 행사로는 어르신들이 쉽게 참여할 수 있는 △어르신 무병장수를 기원하는 장수사진 촬영 △청년이 어르신들에게 배우는 명절음식 만들기 △청년과 어르신이 함께하는  윷놀이 한마당으로 청년들과 어르신들 간 친목과 화합을 다졌다. 

송호대학교 산학협력단과 횡성군도시재생청년참여단 관계자는 “이번 행사를 계기로 구리고개 주민여러분들과 송호대학교, 청년참여단이 마을의 발전과 주민화합을 위한 다양한 활동을 추진할 수 있는 물꼬를 열었다.”며 “앞으로도 많은 청년들이 마을을 위해 적극적인 활동을 계획하고 있으니 기대해 주셔도 좋다.”고 했다.  

박창현 구리고개 도시재생 주민협의체 회장은 “모두가 힘든 시기를 겪고 있다.”며 “이럴 때 우리 청년들이 마을 어르신들을 위해 장수사진도 찍고 윷놀이도 하며 즐거운 시간을 함께하니 마을 어르신들이 너무 행복해하신다.”며 “마을에 청년들이 들어오니 마을이 한결 환해지는 것 같다. 이런 세대 통합 프로그램이 정기적으로 개최되어 활기찬 마을로 거듭나길 바란다.”고 말했다.
