[김현우 기자 = 속초] 속초시는 다자녀가정의 자녀 양육 부담을 경감하고 출산·양육 친화적 사회분위기 조성을 위해 ‘2023년 다자녀가정 대학등록금 지원사업’을 추진한다고 16일 밝혔다. 

지원대상은 신청일 기준 6개월 이상 도내에 주민등록을 두고 지급일까지 계속 거주하고 있는 셋째아 이상 대학재학생 중 만 24세 이하인 자로 연중 수시 신청을 받는다. 

지원내용은 대학 재학 기간 중 1회에 한하여 1인당 100만 원이 지원되고, 납부 잔액 또는 등록금 고지금액이 100만 원 미만일 경우에는 해당 금액만 지원되며, 예산 소진 시까지 선착순으로 진행된다. 

등록금을 일부 감면받거나 기타 민간단체로부터 장학금을 받는 자도 위 사업 중복 지원이 가능하나 국가기관 또는 한국장학재단, 지방자치단체에서 학자금을 면제받고 있는 자는 지원대상에서 제외된다. 

신청 방법은 본인 또는 보호자가 대학등록금 납부필증 또는 납입증명서, 통장 사본을 지참하여 거주지 동주민센터로 방문 신청하면 되며, 기타 문의는 속초시청 교육가족지원과로 하면 된다.
