[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 1월 25일 의정부시 흥선동행정복지센터는 흥선동 명예사회복지공무원과 함께 관내 주거취약지역 일대에서 겨울철 복지사각지대 위기가구 발굴을 위한 거리캠페인을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

중점 발굴대상은 국가, 지자체 등의 도움이 필요하지만 지원받지 못하는 복지 소외계층으로 코로나19에 따른 휴‧폐업, 실직, 소득감소, 공과금 체납 등 취약가구, 고시원, 여관, 찜질방 등 열약한 주거환경에서 거주 중인 1인가구, 단전, 단수, 단가스 또는 건강보험료 체납가구, 그 밖에 생활이 어려운 저소득 가구 등이라고 했다.

오는 2월 말까지 흥선동행정복지센터는 동절기를 맞아 민‧관 협력 겨울철 복지사각지대 위기가구 발굴지원 사업을 추진하고 있으며, 긴급한 도움이 필요하지만 지원을 받지 못하는 취약계층을 집중 발굴해 맞춤형 서비스를 지원한다는 계획이라고 전했다.

유준영 흥선동 복지지원과장은 “민관협업을 통해 복지사각지대발굴을 위한 인적안전망을 보완‧강화하고, 보건복지부 복지사각지대 발굴시스템을 활용해 더욱 체계적으로 복지위기가구를 찾아 상담을 진행하고 민간자원을 연계하는 등 실질적인 도움을 제공할 예정이다”고 밝혔다.
