[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 23일 의정부시 흥선동행정복지센터는 작은사랑 나눔회에서 새해를 맞이해 저소득 취약계층 200가구에게 떡국 밀키트 200인분을 후원해 주위를 훈훈하게 했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 작은사랑 나눔회 회원들이 코로나19 장기화로 경제적으로 어려운 저소득 취약계층을 지원하고 새해를 맞이해 따뜻한 온정을 나누고자 추진 됐다고 했다.

윤정순 작은사랑 나눔회 회장은 “코로나19와 추운 날씨에 경제적으로 어려운 이웃들에게 조금이나마 위로와 위안을 드리기 위해 회원들과 정성스럽게 떡국 밀키트 준비했고, 추운 겨울 건강하고 따뜻하게 보내시기 바란다”고 말했다.

유준영 흥선동 복지지원과장은 “어려운 이웃에 관심을 두고 나눔을 몸소 실천하는 작은사랑 나눔회의 기탁에 감사드리며 회원들의 귀한  마음을 담아 잘 전해 드리겠다”고 전했다.

한편 작은사랑 나눔회는 순수 봉사단체로서 1997년부터 시작해 24년 동안 지속적으로 매년 어려운 이웃들을 위해 나눔과 봉사활동에 앞장서고 있다고 밝혔다.
