[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 2월 10일 의정부시 흥선동행정복지센터는 흥선동 바르게살기위원회, 흥선동 지역사회보장협의체, 흥선동 마을복지계획 추진단에서 지역 내 취약가구의 이사를 위해 이삿짐 운반 지원에 나섰다고 밝혔다.

지원을 받은 홀몸어르신 김00 할아버지는 오래전 가족들과 연락이 단절되어 홀로 노후화된 가건물에서 안정적인 거주지로 이사를 갈 수 있게 됐으나 짐을 옮길 방법이 없는 상황으로, 소식을 들은 흥선동 바르게살기위원회, 흥선동 지역사회보장협의체, 흥선동 마을복지계획 추진단 회원들은 생업으로 바쁜 와중에도 아침 일찍 대상 가구를 방문해 1톤 화물차와 승용차 2대 분량의 짐을 손수 옮겼다고 했다.

김남희 바르게살기위원회 위원장은 “어르신이 안전한 환경에서 생활할 수 있어 뿌듯하고, 앞으로도 지역에 도움이 필요한 분들을 위해 지속적인 손길을 전하겠다”고 말했다.
