[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 6일 동두천시 중앙동행정복지센터는 자체적으로 조직된 인적안전망과 협력하여 복지사각지대를 발굴하고 있다고 밝혔다.

이를 위해 명예사회복지공무원, 지역사회보장협의체 위원, 중앙동 맞춤형복지팀 등 인력 60여 명이 상시적으로 소통하고 있으며, 작년 12월부터 오는 2월까지 생활고에 놓인 위기가구를 선제적으로 발굴하고 있다고 했다. 

지난 1월 6일에도 명예사회복지공무원을 대상으로 겨울철 위기 이웃 제보를 문자메시지를 통해 요청했고, 그 밖에도 지역사회보장협의체 단체 채팅방과 SNS에 홍보 게시물을 등록하는 등 구슬땀을 흘렸다고 전했다.  

이춘우 중앙동장은 “복지사각지대 발굴 활동에 참여를 희망하는 주민을 명예사회복지공무원과 지역사회보장협의체 위원으로 추천함과 더불어 굳건한 인적네트워크를 구축해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
