[김준호 기자 = 평창군] 평창군은 추석을 맞이하여 깨끗하고 안전한 수돗물의 안정적인 공급을 위한 평창군 관내 6개 정수장에 대한 현장점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

군 상하수도사업소는 이번 점검에서 가동 중인 펌프의 동작상태, 예비 펌프의 이상 유무, 정수약품 투입시설의 정량투입여부, 수질자동측정기 정상작동 상태, 염소투입시설의 자동제어 정상 작동 여부 등 세부적인 사항에 이르기까지 꼼꼼하게 살폈다.

한편, 추석 연휴 기간 중에도 담당 직원과 대행업체 등 비상연락체계를 가동해 기계 오작동·누수·단수 등 비상상황 발생 시 신속히 조치할 방침이다.

신승호 상하수도사업소장은 “평창군민에게 안전하고 깨끗한 수돗물이 공급될 수 있도록 만전을 기하고 있으며 연휴기간 군민들의 불편을 최소화 하도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
