[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시는 여성청소년들의 건강한 성장지원과 건강권 보장을 위한 ‘여성청소년 보건위생용품 바우처 지원’ 사업 신청을 받고 있다고 밝혔다.

지원 대상자는 1998년 1월 1일부터 2013년 12월 31일 사이 출생자로 ‘국민기초생활보장법’에 따른 생계·의료·주거·교육급여 수급자, 법정 차상위계층, ‘한부모가족지원법’에 해당하는 여성청소년이라고 했다.     

지원신청은 한 번 신청하면 자격에 변동이 생기지 않는 한 추가 신청 없이 만 24세까지 지속 지원되며, 지원 금액은 신청일 기준으로 월 12,000원, 연 최대 144,000원을 바우처 형식으로 지원한다고 전했다.

신청방법은 청소년 본인 혹은 주 양육자가 청소년의 주소등록지 행정복지센터에 신청 가능하며, 코로나19로 직접방문이 어려운 경우 복지로사이트 혹은 복지로 앱에서 비 대면으로 온라인 신청도 가능하다고 했다.

서비스 신청 후 보건위생용품 구매권을 이용하기 위해서는 국민행복카드를 발급받아야 하며, 발급 카드사별로 가맹계약을 체결한 온라인, 오프라인 가맹점에서 직접 물품을 선택해 구매할 수 있다고 했다. 

동두천시 관계자는 “신청한 달부터 지원이 되니 가급적 빨리 신청할 수 있도록 적극적인 홍보를 통해 저소득 여성 청소년들이 보건위생용품 때문에 매월 고민하지 않고 건강한 삶을 누릴 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
