지난 2021년도 95명을 선발해 2억2천8백50만원의 장학금을 지급한 것에 비해 장학생 38명(고등학생 11, 대학생 23, 과학 및 예체능 4), 장학금 6천7백만원이 증가한 수치이며, 특히, 2022년도에 신설한 희망드림 장학생은 국민기초생활보장 수급자, 차상위계층, 한부모가정의 학생이 대상이 된다고 했다.
