[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 21일, 가평군 북면 주민자치회에서는 가평 북면행정복지센터에 방문하여 관내 어려운 이웃 중 한부모가족을 위해 써달라며 이웃돕기 성금 100만원을 기탁하였다고 밝혔다.

북면 주민자치회는 꾸준히 지역사회를 위해 다양한 봉사활동과 이웃돕기 등을 실천하며 지역주민들로부터 귀감이 되고 있다고 했다.

북면 주민자치회에서는 “비록 현재 어려운 시기가 이어져가고 있지만, 가평군 학생들이 소중한 꿈을 펼칠 수 있도록 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바라는 마음에 장학금을 기탁함으로써 나눔활동을 실천하기로 결심했다.”라고 전했다.

이에 남경호 북면장은 “코로나19로 모두가 힘든 시기에 가평군 교육발전을 위해 힘써준 북면 주민자치회에 감사의 뜻을 전하며, 장학금은 꿈을 이루기 위해 노력하는 학생들에게 소중히 전달하겠다.”라고 전했다.
