[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 28일 영중면 지역사회보장협의체는 다문화가족 및 한부모가족 10가구에 따뜻한 겨울나기 물품 나눔 행사를 가졌다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 경기도사회복지공동모금회의 네잎클로버사업 후원금으로 영중면에 공적으로 혜택을 받고 있지 못한 다문화가족 및 한부모가족 가구를 지원하고자 마련됐으며, 협의체 위원들은 가정방문을 통해 지원물품인 에어프라이어를 전달하면서 코로나19 예방수칙 및 한파 대응요령을 안내하며 이웃들의 안부를 살폈다고 했다.

이창수 위원장은 “코로나19로 힘든 시기를 보내고 있는 어려운 이웃에 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 이번 나눔을 준비했다.”라며, “앞으로도 이웃에 대한 관심과 사랑을 실천하는 지역사회보장협의체가 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.

안문종 영중면장은 “영중면에 거주하고 있는 다문화가정 및 한부모가족을 발굴하여 안부를 살필 수 있는 좋은 기회였다.”라며 “앞으로도 지역의 소외된 분들을 발굴하여 함께하는 영중면이 되도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.
