[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 8월 1일부터 가평군은 ‘2021년 가평군 여성청소년 기본생리용품 보편지원 사업’ 2차 온라인신청 접수를 시작한다고 밝혔다.

이 사업은 가평군 여성청소년들에게 생리용품의 선별적 지원을 넘어 보편적 지원을 함으로써 여성청소년들의 건강권을 보장하고 권익증진을 실현하고자 시행됐다고 했다.

신청기간은 오는 8월 1일부터 8월 31일까지로 총 31일간 신청 가능하며, 2021년 7월 1일 기준 가평군에 주민등록이 되어있는 만 11세 ~ 18세 여성청소년이라면 누구나 경기지역화폐 69,000원(월 11,500원, 7~12월분) 지원 받을 수 있다고 했다.

다만, 「사회보장기본법」상 중복지원이 불가능해 여성가족부 지원을 받는 여성청소년은 지원에서 제외되며, 현재 여성가족부는 기초생활수급권자, 법정 차상위계층, 한부모 가족 가구의 만 11 ~ 18세 여성청소년에게 생리용품 바우처를 선별지원 하고 있다고 했다.
