[남상훈 기자 = 의정부] 지난 19일 김동근 의정부시장이 시민의 감사행정 참여를 통한 열린행정 구현을 위해 ‘의정부시 청렴시민감사관 위촉식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

의정부시는 청렴시민감사관 운영 조례를 지난해 11월 25일자로 제정·공포했으며 이날 위촉된 청렴시민감사관은 총 19명으로 전문분야 7명, 일반분야 12명이다. 보다 세부적이고 적극적인 참여도를 높이기 위해 참여분야를 세분화했다.

청렴시민감사관은 앞으로 2년간 종합감사 등 감사대상 기관의 감사과정에 참여해 시정 전반에 대해 개선 및 건의, 시정 등을 요구하고 청렴도 제고를 위한 청렴 시책 수립 과정에 참여 및 자문한다. 또한, 위법·불합리한 제도 및 부패유발 제도·관행에 대한 개선을 건의하는 등 청렴 시정 구현을 위한 역할을 맡는다. 

김동근 시장은 “청렴시민감사관이 시민의 입장에서 불합리한 제도 및 관행을 개선하고, 청렴한 공직사회 조성을 위해 시정에 항상 관심을 갖고 함께 노력해 줄 것을 당부드린다”고 말했다.
