사창리 일대 전선 지중화를 비롯해 보행로와 자전거 도로 설치, 사창천 친수공간 조성, 건축물 입면과 간판 개선, 미디어 큐브 설치, 하늘광장 조성 등의 경관개선 사업도 순차적으로 이어질 예정이라고 전했다. 

최문순 화천군수는 “군민들의 행복이 최우선 정책기준”이라며 “정주여건 개선 뿐 아니라 사내복합체육관, 복합커뮤니티센터, 파크골프장 추가 조성사업 등도 차질없이 진행되도록 각별히 노력하겠다”고 했다.
