[남상훈 기자 = 의정부] 지난 13일 김동근 의정부시장은 ‘의정부시 중소기업지원센터’에서 현장시장실을 열고 용현산업단지 기업인들의 애로사항 및 건의사항 등 의견을 청취하는 시간을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

이날 현장시장실에는 기업인 협의회 회원 10여 명이 참석한 가운데 산업단지 내 주차 환경 개선, 용현산단과 영석고를 잇는 대로 3-12 진행상황, 용현산업단지 근무자 자녀를 위한 어린이집 확충, 정문부 장군묘 문화프로그램 연계, 산업단지 주변 공원 산책로 조성 등에 관해 논의됐다.

현장시장실에 참여한 기업 대표는“시와 소통할 수 있는 대화 창구를 만들어주셔서 감사하며, 양질의 일자리와 좋은 기업을 유치하려는 시의 노력을 적극 지지한다”며, “앞으로도 의정부시 지역경제에 보탬이 될 수 있도록 기업인들도 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다. 

김동근 시장은 현장시장실을 마무리하며 “용현산업단지는 의정부시 지역 경제에 중추적인 역할을 하는 곳”이라며, “기업 하기 좋은 환경을 만들기 위해 시에서도 적극적인 지원을 하고, 기업인들의 불편함이 완화될 수 있도록 차근차근 단계를 밟아가며 개선해 나갈 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
