[남상훈 기자 = 의정부] 지난 16일 김동근 의정부시장이 마약 범죄 근절을 위한 `NO EXIT’ 캠페인에 동참했다고 밝혔다.

‘NO EXIT’ 캠페인은 지난 4월 26일부터 경찰청과 마약퇴치운동본부 주관으로 마약에 대한 심각성을 알리고 중독을 방지하기 위해 진행하는 SNS 릴레이 형식의 캠페인이다. 지목받지 않은 경우라도 ‘NO EXIT’ 이미지와 함께 인증 사진을 SNS에 올려 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 연말까지 진행될 예정이다. 

한창희 의정부성모병원장의 지목으로 캠페인에 참여한 김동근 시장은 다음 참여자로 최정희 의정부시의회 의장과 이상철 곡성군수를 지목했다.

김동근 시장은 `출구 없는 미로, NO EXIT, 마약 절대 시작하지 마세요’라는 문구가 적힌 피켓을 들고 인증 사진을 찍은 후 “마약의 심각성을 다시 한번 일깨우는 계기가 되기를 바라며, 마약 청정도시 의정부를 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
