[남상훈 기자 = 가평] 검찰이 서태원 군수의 공직선거법 기부행위 위반 혐의에 대해 벌금 100만원을 구형했다.

검찰은 2일 의정부지방법원 남양주지원 형사합의1부(박옥희 부장판사) 심리로 열린 2차 공판에서 “서 군수의 행위가 선거 연고 관련자에게 이익을 제공했다”라고 판단해 내린 구형이라고 설명했다.

이에, 서 군수 측 변호인은 “인간적인 편의 제공이며 이것이 정치적으로 연결돼 과장되고 부풀려졌다”라고 주장했다.

서 군수의 선고 공판은 오는 4월 11일에 진행될 공동피고인 A씨의 변론 후로 결정될 것으로 보인다.
