서태원 가평군수 지난 8일 취임 100일 맞아

 

[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 7월 1일 힐링과 행복, 하나되는 가평특별군으로 도약하겠다는 포부를 밝히고 취임한지 석달이 지났다. 

 

서 군수는 지난 6월 지방선거가 끝나자마자 선거기간중 현장에 보고 들었던 지역주민들의 애로사항과 건의를 민선8기 군정에 반영하기 위해 지역주민과 관련 전문가들의 의견을 청취하는 등 바쁜 행보를 이어왔다. 

 

천만관광객이 찾아오는 대한민국 제일의 관광도시 가평시대, 군민을 진정으로 위하며 복지를 체감하는 행복도시를 위해 공약사업으로 7대목표 54개사업을 확정해 공약실천계획을 수립하고 있다.  

 

주요사업은 미영연방 관광안보공원 조성, 신선봉 산악관광지개발계획수립, 북한강천년뱃길조성, 명품주거단지 1만호건설, 경기도의료원가평병원유치, 민원정책관제 및 감사관실 신설, 서울사무소설치 등이다. 

 

지난달 27일 공약이행평가단을 구성하고 정기적인 평가를 통해 군민과의 약속인 공약 이행 상황을 지속 점검할 계획이다.

 

당면 현안과제로 규제완화를 통한 지역경제 활성화 꼽아

천만 관광객이 찾아오는 대한민국 제일의 관광도시 가평
