이에 로컬드림봉사회는 영하20도의 추운 날씨에도 불가하고 지난9일 로컬드림봉사단체는 어느때와 변함없이 오전8시부터 2시간가량 보산역 일대 거리청소를 실시하였다.

로컬드림봉사회 이창민 회장은 “우리 로컬드림은 아무리 추운 날씨라도 상관하지 않고, 회원 각자가 스스로와의 약속을 지켜가고 있다. 거리청소 봉사를 통해 시민들과 따뜻하게 마음을 나눌 수 있는 것도, 회원 간의 신뢰가 바탕이 되기에 가능한 것이다.”라고 말했다.

한편, 로컬드림봉사회는 보산역 미군참여 환경정화가 코로나19 확산으로 중지됐으나, 코로나19가 진정되는 대로 미군과 함께하는 거리청소를 재개할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
