[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 22일 동두천시 소재 (주)형제군납은 지역사회 취약계층에 나눔을 실천하고자 동두천시종합자원봉사센터에 베지밀 음료 40박스를 전달했다고 밝혔다.

김현수 대표는 “연일 이어지는 폭염으로 어려움을 겪고 계신 분들이 많다고 들었다. 작은 나눔이지만 받으시는 분들에게 위로와 힘이 되었으면 좋겠다”며 지속적인 나눔 실천을 약속했다.

손덕환 자원봉사센터장은 “코로나19와 무더위로 모두가 어려운 시기에 십시일반의 마음으로 지역사회에 나눔을 지속적으로 실천하고 있는 대표님과 직원들에게 감사를 표하고, 전달 받은 음료는 폭염 취약계층을 위해 정성껏 전달하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 (주)형제군납은 임직원들이 매월 정기적으로 일정금액을 어려운 이웃에 기부하는 ‘착한일터’에 가입하여 나눔을 실천해오고 있으며, 지역사회 취약계층을 위해 음료, 라면, 과자, 생필품 등을 지속 후원하는 착한기업이라고 했다.
