[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 26일 동두천시는 시청에서 ‘희망나눔, 행복드림’ 나눔리더 인증패 전달식을 가졌다고 밝혔다. 

동두천시종합자원봉사센터 손덕환 센터장과, 하나플란트치과의원 김경희 원장은 지역복지 발전의 초석을 다지고 시민들에게 따뜻한 나눔 문화를 실천하는 ‘희망나눔, 행복드림’ 모금 사업을 통해 동두천시에 후원금을 기부하고 나눔리더로 선정됐다고 했다.

‘희망나눔, 행복드림’ 나눔리더는 후원을 희망하는 개인 후원자를 대상으로 1년 내 100만원 이상을 기부·약정하면 선정될 수 있으며, 이는 다양한 후원을 통해 나눔에 앞장서고 있는 개인 후원자에 대한 예우 및 숨어 있는 고액 후원자를 독려하기 위한 것으로, 동두천시지역사회보장협의체와 경기북부사회복지공동모금회가 함께 진행하고 있다고 전했다.

동두천시 관계자는 “코로나19가 지속되며 많은 시민이 경제적인 고통을 호소하고 있다”며, “시민을 위한 민간주도 복지사업에 앞장서주신 두 명의 나눔리더께 감사함을 전한다”고 밝혔다.
