[김준호 기자=삼척시] 삼척시가 폐광지역에 거주하는 재가진폐재해자의 생활안정과 지역 일자리 창출을 위해 폐광지역 지역공동체 일자리사업 참여자를 모집한다.

시는 총사업비 2억4천7백만 원(도비 포함)을 들여, 총 25명을 선발해 오는 4월 10일부터 9월 10일까지 5개월간 도계 유리나라 및 나무나라 환경정비, 도계읍 주요 도로변 정비 및 수변공원 가꾸기 등의 사업을 추진할 계획이다.

모집대상은 사업개시일(4월 10일) 기준 도계읍에 주민등록을 한 미취업자로, 가구소득이 기준중위 소득의 70% 이하이면서 재산이 4억 원 미만이어야 한다. 

참여를 희망하는 경우 신청서와 구비서류를 지참해 3월 15일부터 3월 21일까지 도계읍 행정복지센터에 직접 방문하여 접수하면 된다.

김영희 복지정책과장은 “이번 일자리 사업을 통해 폐광지역에 거주하는 재가진폐재해자들의 생활안정과 폐광지역 경제 활성화에 도움이 되기를 기대한다.”고 말했다.

한편, 삼척시는 지난해에도 2억2천9백만 원의 사업비를 투입하여 폐광지역 주민 25명에게 일자리를 제공했다.
