[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시는 지난 8일, ‘포천 인흥군 묘역 및 신도비 경기도기념물 지정기념 학술 심포지엄’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

심포지엄은 ‘인흥군과 낭선군의 생애와 예술’ 등 총 다섯 가지의 주제를 중심으로 17세기 서예가·금석학자로만 알려져 왔던 낭선군이 아버지인 인흥군의 묘역과 신도비를 조성했다는 사실과 함께 그의 학술적·예술적 세계관을 새롭게 알아보는 시간을 가졌다.

낭선군은 아버지에 대한 효심으로 인흥군 묘역과 주변의 석물 등을 설치했으며, 생전에 자신의 묘소에 쓸 묘표, 망주석, 향로석, 고석 등을 건립했다. 자신이 평생 작업한 내용을 ‘백년록(百年錄)’, ‘잡저록(雜著錄)’에 저술하는 등 이번 학술 심포지엄을 통해 그의 뛰어난 능력을 재조명했다.

또한 심포지엄을 통해 한글비석의 명칭과 한자음독 오류를 정정했다. 묘산비에 새겨진 한글은 17세기 유일한 한글 금석문으로 한글 및 서예사적 가치가 뛰어나다.
