[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월11일부터 오는 3월21일까지 강원도 홍천군 농정과와 (사)홍천농촌지역관광사업단이 ‘2022 홍천군 마을대학1기’ 수강생을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이번사업은 홍천군 시군역량강화사업에 대한 주민들의 관심과 참여를 높이고 마을공동체와 연계방안을 마련을 위해 추진된다고 했다.

2022 홍천마을대학 1기는 '소통 더 나은 한걸음 !!'이라는 주제로 마을공동체사업에 관심있는 홍천군민을 대상으로 '농촌 마을 만들기'에 대한 기초교육과 마을만들기 이론을 교육받을 수 있고, 교육과정에서는 마을만들기의 우수사례를 공유하며 교육 중 이루어지는 토론활동을 통해 마을자치와 주민자치에 대한 역량을 강화시키며, 마을 만들기 마을리더의 역할을 제고해 농촌마을을 다양한 관점으로 볼 수 있도록 한다고 전했다.

교육과정은 오는 3월 22일부터 4월12일까지 매주 화요일 주 1회, 4시간 교육으로 총 4회에 걸쳐 진행될 예정이며, 교육을 수료 한 주민들은 향후 마을의 지역현안을 해결하고 마을공동체 사업을 기반으로 하는 마을만들기의 리더역할을 수행하게 된다고 했다. 

4주 동안 (출석 80%이상) 교육을 이수해야 수료증이 발급되고, 마을만들기에 관심 있는 홍천군민과 농촌현장포럼 마을리더 및 주민 누구나 수강신청이 가능하며, 총 20명 이내의 수강생을 선착순 모집한다고 전했다.

신청방법은 ‘홍천군청 홈페이지’ 또는 ‘홍천농촌문화터미널 블로그’에서 신청서를 내려받아 작성한 뒤 이메일로 전송하거나 팩스로 접수 가능하며 홍천농촌문화터미널에 방문해 접수할 수 있다고 했다.

시군역량강화 관계자는 “마을대학은 관내 마을만들기 사업 추진에 있어서 가장 기초적이고 중요한 교육과정으로 마을 내 공동체 활성화를 위한 맞춤형 기초교육 프로그램으로 지역주민들의 적극적인 참여와 많은 관심을 바란다”고 밝혔다.
