[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원도와 강원친환경연합사업단 및 강원도친환경농업협회는 26일 강원도 농업인단체회관에서 강원도 먹거리정책협의회 구축을 위해 ‘탄소 제로로 가는길-친환경농업기술 방안’을 주제로 심포지엄을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 심포지엄은 친환경먹거리에 대한 관심이 지속 증가하는 추세에 따라 친환경농업의 주도적 역할을 담당하는 도내 친환경농업인들에게 앞으로 탄소배출을 감소시키면서 친환경농업의 활성화 방안모색을 위해 개최하게 됐다. 

「탄소 제로로 가는 길-친환경농업기술 방안 심포지엄」의 주제발표의 좌장으로 상지대학교 식물생명자원학과 류종원 교수가 맡았으며, 제1세션에는 강원친환경연합사업단 이교훈 부장, 양양친환경농업협회 박영관 농업인, 고성친환경농업협회 박기성 농업인이 주제발표를 하고, 제2세션에는 그래도팜 원건희 대표, 양양친환경농업협회 박영관 농업인, 인제친환경농업협회 이용기 농업인이 사례발표를 하고 자유토론을 하면서 참석한 친환경농업인의 의견수렴으로 진행됐다.

강원도 김진휘 농정국장은 “친환경 농업인들이 안전한 국민먹거리 생산을 위해 주요한 구성원으로서 역할을 하고 있으나, 열악한 친환경농업의 현실속에서 이번 심포지엄을 통해 도내 친환경농업의 발전을 위한 실질적 정책과 개선방안이 논의되는 계기가 되기를 바란다”라고 말했다.
