[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 17일 의정부시 황범순 의정부시 부시장은 코로나19 장기화로 위축된 마을공동체의 일상 회복 지원을 위해 의정부2동 경기 행복마을관리소를 방문해 관계자를 격려했다고 밝혔다.

옛 보훈회관 건물을 리모델링해 조성한 의정부2동 경기 행복마을관리소는 올해 9월 공개모집으로 채용된 행복마을 지킴이와 사무원 5명이 공구대여, 취약지역 안전순찰, 취약계층 돌봄 등 생활 속 불편을 해소하고 주민편의를 위한 공공서비스를 제공한다고 했다

의정부시는 의정부1동에 이어 의정부2동에 경기행복마을관리소를 추가 개소함에 따라 총 2개소의 행복마을관리소를 확대 운영하며, 올 연말까지 반려 식물 가꾸기, 천연 비누 만들기 등 문화프로그램 운영을 통해 코로나19로 힘들었던 한 해를 마무리하는 주민들을 위로하고 지역주민 간 소통의 자리를 마련할 예정이라고 전했다.
