[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 11월 26일부터 의정부시는 원데이클래스, 나눔장터 등 주민교류프로그램을 의정부1·2동 경기 행복마을관리소에서 진행한다고 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 코로나19 장기화로 위축된 마을공동체의 일상 회복을 위해 기획됐으며, 행복마을관리소는 매주 금요일 관내 주민을 대상으로 천연 비누 만들기, 쿠킹 클래스 등 다양한 프로그램으로 구성된 원데이클래스를 진행하는 한편 이웃 간의 연대와 소통을 위한 공유공간을 운영한다고 했다.

공유공간은 주 1회 개방하며 뜨개질 또는 테라리움의 재료가 준비돼있어 관내 주민이라면 누구나 이용할 수 있고, 원데이클래스와 공유공간의 이용을 원하는 주민은 전화 또는 방문을 통해 접수 가능하며, 이외에도 연말까지 ‘행복마을 미용실’, ‘장수 사진 촬영’ 등 다채로운 프로그램이 행복마을관리소에서 진행될 예정이라고 전했다.

의정부시는 의정부1동 경기 행복마을관리소에 이어 올해 9월 옛 보훈회관을 리모델링해 의정부2동 경기 행복마을관리소를 조성했으며, 공개모집으로 채용된 행복마을 지킴이와 사무원이 지역주민의 문화 활동을 지원하고 치안, 복지 등 주민 생활에 밀접한 공공서비스를 제공한다고 했다.
