[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군 지역사회보장협의체는 공공위원장 서태원 가평군수와 대표협의체 위원 18명이 참석한 가운데 지난 20일 가평군청 2청사에서 제5기(2023~2026) 지역사회보장계획 수립 최종보고회 및 대표협의체 심의 회의를 개최했다. 

지역사회보장계획은 복지, 돌봄, 환경, 교육 등 사회보장 영역에서 지역주민의 복리증진을 목적으로 지역사회 복지수요와 자원, 그리고 자체 사회보장사업 등을 포함하는 4년 단위 법정계획이다.

가평군은 올해 경기복지재단과 함께 제5기 지역사회보장계획을 수립하고 있으며, 「The 특별한 복지로 힐링과 행복 가득한 가평」을 목표로 정하고 ‘건강하고 행복한 노인돌봄 환경 조성’, ‘활력있는 장애인 어울림 생활환경 조성’, ‘군민이 참여하는 일자리 환경 조성’, ‘군민이 함께하는 문화 환경 조성’, ‘가족이 행복한 복지환경 조성’ 등 5개 지자체 사회보장사업 전략체계와 ‘사회보장급여 이용 및 제공기반 구축’, ‘지역사회 민관협력 제고’, ‘지역사회 거버넌스 구축’, ‘지역사회보장 인프라 확충’과 관련한 4대 발전 전략체계 하에서 총 43개 세부사업을 선정하고, 오늘 대표협의체 회의에서 계획(안)을 심의·확정했다.

가평군은 앞으로 4년 동안 가평군지역사회보장협의체와 함께 사회보장 관련 정책의 이정표 역할을 하게 될 제5기 지역사회보장계획에 기초하여 매년 연차별 시행계획을 수립·시행할 예정이다. 

공공위원장 서태원 군수는 지역사회보장계획 수립을 위해 애쓰신 경기복지재단 성은미 연구원과 지역사회보장협의체 모든 위원들의 노고에 감사 인사를 전하며 앞으로 지역 내 급변하는 환경에 대응하여 군민 모두가 행복한 가평 건설을 위해 노력하겠다고 말했다.
