[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 25일 양주시 회천3동 지역사회보장협의체는 회천3동 행정복지센터 4층 다목적실에서 임인년 첫 정례회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 회의는 회천3동 지역사회보장협의체 위원들이 참석해 18명 위원의 위촉장 수여와 위원장 선출, 명절 이웃돕기 사업 및 연간계획을 구체적으로 수립했으며, 새로 위촉된 신규위원들은 기존 지역사회보장협의체 위원들과 함께 지역사회 복지 확산에 관심을 갖고 복지사각지대 발굴과 각종 특화사업을 수행할 예정이라고 했다.

이번에 선임된 4기 협의체 김현수 위원장은 “코로나19로 경제적 어려움을 겪고 있는 이웃들이 많으므로 지역사회보장협의체가 주축이 되어 복지사각지대 발굴 및 해소에 최선을 다하겠다”며 “이번 신규 위촉식을 계기로 회천3동 지역사회보장협의체가 더욱 활성화되었으면 좋겠다“고 말했다.
