[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시가 오는 27일 원주시청 7층 투자상담실에서 민선8기 주요역점 공약인 삼성반도체 및 중․대규모 기업유치를 위한 원주시 투자유치 자문위원 위촉식을 개최한다.

원주시는 이번 자문위원 위촉을 통해 전문가의 자문과 산업 및 기업에 대한 정보수집을 통해 공격적인 유치활동을 전개할 예정이다.

기업 유치, 투자컨설팅, 반도체 등 미래산업 분야에서 오랜기간 전문지식과 노하우를 축적해온 전문가 총 9명이 투자유치 자문위원으로 위촉되었으며, 이들의 전문성과 인적 네트워크를 활용하여 기업 및 투자유치에 괄목할만한 성과를 거둘 것으로 기대된다.

더불어 이번 위촉식에서는 지난 16일 원주 기업도시에 준공한 대한푸드텍(주)의 투자유치 유공자인 김왕규씨에게 감사패를 전달한다.

김왕규씨는 대한푸드텍(주)이 경기도 광주에서 타 도로 이전을 잠정 결정했다는 소식을 듣고 지인인 대표이사 김윤규씨를 설득하여 원주시로의 최종 이전을 성사시킨 주인공이다.

원강수 원주시장은 “지역사랑으로 기업 유치를 성사시킨 김왕규님께 감사의 인사를 전한다”라며,“투자유치 자문위원들의 도움을 받아 민선8기 최우선과제인 삼성전자 반도체 공장 유치 및 우량 기업 이전에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
