[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 13일 영중면 지역사회보장협의체는 영중면사무소 2층 소회의실에서 임인년 첫 회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 회의에서는 영중면 지역사회보장협의체 위원들이 참석하여 연간계획을 구체적으로 수립하고 후원금 배분 방법과 설명절이웃돕기 사업 및 지역사회보장협의체의 활성화를 위한 신규회원 모집에 대해 논의했다고 했다.

이창수 민간위원장은 “우선 지난 한 해 지역사회보장협의체 위원님들이 적극적으로 동참해 주셔서 감사하다. 올해는 우리 지역사회보장협의체뿐만 아니라 영중면의 모든 유관단체와 소통하고 협력하여 더 살기 좋은 영중면을 만들 수 있는 한 해가 되었으면 한다.”라고 말했다.

안문종 영중면장은 “지난 한 해 동안 실천하지 못했던 것을 반성하고 영중면의 발전 그림을 머릿속의 생각이 아니라 실천하는 해가 되도록 노력하며 말보다는 행동으로 힘들고 어려울 때 힘이 되어 줄 수 있는 지역사회보장협의체가 되었으면 한다.”면서 “우리 영중면이 한반도의 중심이듯 포천시 복지의 중심이 되도록 노력을 다하자.”라고 전했다.

한편 영중면 지역사회보장협의체는 올해 역시 저소득가정 집수리 주거환경개선을 위해 사랑의 집 고치기 사업을 펼칠 예정이며, 자원 확보를 위해 사회복지공동모금회와 영중면 이웃돕기 기금화 사업을 진행하고 있다고 밝혔다.
