[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 30일 박영선 조종면 행정복지센터장은 추석 명절을 앞두고, 관내 아동복지시설인 또래지역아동센터를 방문해 위문활동을 펼쳤다고 전했다. 

코로나 19 어려운 여건에서도 묵묵히 지역사회의 돌봄‧ 교육‧ 문화 등 아동복지 증진에 앞장서고 있는 시설 관계자들의 노고에 대한 감사의 말씀과 가평사랑상품권 60만원을 전달했다. 

또래지역아동센터는 “추석명절을 앞두고 직접 방문해 주셔서 풍성한 추석명절을 아이들과 보낼 수 있게 되어 감사드리며, 앞으로도 지역사회 내 취약계층 아동들의 돌봄 공백을 메우고 아동복지증진을 위해 앞장설 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.

이날 박영선 조종면장은“지역사회 내 보호가 필요한 아동들을 위해 열정을 다해주시는 시설관계자 분들께 감사드리며, 아울러 코로나19와 경제 위기로 인한 가정 내 돌봄 공백으로 위기가정이 증가되고 있어, 위기 가정의 조기 발굴과 지원을 위해 함께 힘써주시기를 당부한다”고 말했다.

한편, 조종면 행정복지센터는 매년 명절마다 지역 내 사회복지시설 위문을 통해 나눔문화 확산과 민‧관협력 복지네트워크 강화를 위해 노력하고 있다.
