[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 2일 동두천시 보산동 주민자치위원회는 경로당 운영 재개에 맞춰 관내 경로당을 위문했다고 밝혔다.

이날 위문은 보산동 주민자치위원회에서 코로나 19 백신 접종을 완료한 위원들만 참석하여 소규모로 진행됐다고 전했다.

보산동 주민자치위원들은 오래간만에 운영 재개한 경로당에서 어르신들이 즐겁고 활동적으로 지내시기를 바라는 마음으로 쌀과 수박 등을 준비하여 전달했다고 했다.

이에 각 경로당 회장단들은  “코로나19로 어려운 시기에 이렇게 위문을 와주니 참 반갑고 고맙다”며 감사인사로 화답했다.

김용일 보산동 주민자치위원장은 “경로당 내에 방역수칙 준수를 당부하며, 지역 주민을 위해 봉사하고 어르신들의 애로사항을 경청하는 주민자치위원회가 되도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
