[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군이 탄소중립 실천 및 미세먼지 저감을 위해 승용 및 화물 전기자동차를 구매하는 군민에게 구매 보조금을 지원한다고 24일 밝혔다.

가평군은 올해 42억여 원의 예산을 투입해 전기 승용차 264대, 전기 화물차 78대 등 총 342대를 보급할 예정으로 상․하반기로 나눠 예산 소진시까지 지원한다.

보조금액은 차종별로 다르다. 전기 승용차는 최대 1180만원, 전기 화물차는 1900만원까지 지원된다.

구매지원 신청은 이달 27일부터 가능하며, 가까운 자동차 판매사(대리점)를 통해 접수하면 된다.

신청자격은 신청일 3개월 이전부터 군에 주소를 둔 개인, 법인, 공공기관 등으로 장애인, 차상위계층, 상이․독립유공자, 소상공인 등 취약계층을 비롯해 다자녀 가구 및 생애 최초 차량구매자에게 우선 지원될 계획이다.

가평군 관계자는 “최근 자동차 반도체 수급난으로 차량 출고가 지연될 수 있는 만큼 구매의사가 있을 경우 자동차 판매사를 통해 사전 출고가 가능한지 확인하기 바란다”며 “저탄소 녹색성장을 위해 군민들의 적극적인 관심과 참여를 당부드린다”고 말했다.
