[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 14일 북면행정복지센터에서는 추석을 맞아 북면 저소득 소외계층 22세대에 후원품을 전달하며 따뜻한 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 위문을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 위문활동에는 북면 인적안전망으로 활동하고 있는 북면지역사회보장협의체 위원(14명)과 명예사회복지공무원(8명)이 함께하여 더욱 뜻깊게 진행됐다고 했다. 

전달된 후원품은 파주닭국수 가평점에서 후원한 닭죽, 탕수육, 적목리 박동선 이장이 후원한 양말세트, 지역사회보장협의체 정기회의에서 결정된 곰탕 및 계란선물세트 등 추석에 걸맞게 푸짐하게 구성되어 받는 이들로 하여금 탄성이 나올정도라고 관계자가 후문을 전했다고 했다.

위문행사를 마치고 지역사회보장협의체 위원들은 지난 10일 정기회의에서 논의된 복지대상자 가구에 들러 위험건축물 철거에 관해 현장조사를 하는 등 현장중심 복지 실천에 여념이 없었다고 했다.

이해곤 북면장은 “추석 명절을 맞아 소외감을 느낄 어려운 이웃들을 살뜰이 살핀 지사협위원과 명예사회복지공무원들에게 깊은 감사를 드리고, 면민 모두가 따뜻하고 정겨운 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 지속적인 보호 예찰활동을 실시 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
