[김현우 기자 = 강릉] 강릉시는 오는 24일까지 착한가격업소 신규 모집을 하고, 기존 등록업소 66개소에 대한 일제정비를 실시한다고 14일 밝혔다.

착한가격업소 선정은 인건비 상승 및 재료비 인상 등에도 불구하고 시중 평균가격보다 저렴한 가격으로 양질의 서비스를 제공하여 위축된 소비시장을 회복하고 지역경제를 활성화하기 위한 취지이다.

신규모집은 공고일 현재 영업하고 있는 자영업자 또는 개인사업자로, 음식점, 이·미용업 등 서민생활과 밀접한 개인서비스요금에 해당하는 업종에 대해 시민에게 직접 소매단위로 물품과 서비스 등의 판매를 하는 업소를 대상으로 한다.

착한가격메뉴의 개수와 가격, 이용만족도 및 위생·청결 등의 평가표를 기준으로 현지실사를 통해 적격 여부를 평가하여, 3월 중 신규 업체 17개소 내외의 착한가격업소를 선정할 계획이다.

다만, 가맹사업자(프랜차이즈 업소)는 전국이나 지역단위에 관계없이 지정이 불가하며, 다양한 업종 선정을 위해 이·미용업의 경우 지정 수를 제한할 수 있다.

최종 선정된 업소에는 착한가격업소 LED간판 지급과 강원도 소상공인 경영안정자금, 소규모 시설환경개선 및 공공요금이 지원되며, 이용활성화를 위한 홍보 등 다양한 혜택이 주어질 예정이다.

신청 방법은 우편이나 이메일로 신청이 가능하나 접수 후 확인 전화를 필수로 해야 하며, 소상공인과를 방문하여 신청할 수 있다.

한편, 오는 3월 10일까지 기존 착한가격업소로 등록된 66개소에 대해 가격, 가격안정노력, 이용만족도 및 위생·청결 등의 점검표를 기준으로 일제정비를 진행한다.

현지 점검을 통해 적격업소에는 착한가격업소로 재지정하고 인센티브를 제공할 예정이며, 부적격업소에 대해서는 지정을 취소하고 인센티브 제공을 중단할 계획이다.

강릉시 관계자는“고물가시대에 낮은 가격으로 물가안정에 동참해 온 착한가격업소를 확대 발굴하여 지역 경기 활성화를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
