[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9월 2일 대한한돈협회 가평지부에서는 추석 명절을 맞아 어려운 이웃과 따뜻한 온정을 나누기 위해 가평군에 390만원 상당의 돼지고기 140kg를 전달했다.

이날 전달식에 참석한 대한한돈협회 가평지부 배부열 지부장은 “작은 나눔이지만 경제불황과 코로나 장기화로 어려움을 겪고 있는 우리군 이웃들에게 한돈협회 회원들의 따뜻한 마음이 잘 전달되어 풍성한 추석명절을 보낼 수 있기를 바란다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

이에 박성규 복지정책과장은 “경기침체가 계속되는 힘든 상황에서도 매년 이웃사랑 실천에 앞장서 오신 배부열 지부장을 비롯한 회원 분들에게 감사드리며 회원 분들의 따뜻한 마음과 함께 잘 전달하겠다”고 말했다.  

한편, 대한한돈협회 가평지부는 가평군 한돈인들의 권익을 보호하고 한돈산업 발전을 위해 다양한 활동을 펼치는 단체로, 매년 뜻깊은 나눔 활동에 동참하며 이웃사랑 실천을 이어 오고 있다.
