[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 13일 메르츠화재 동두천행복본부 이민숙 본부장은 상패동 행정복지센터 희망나눔상자에 비치해 달라며 각종 생활용품을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

이민숙 본부장은 희망나눔상자에 대해 듣고 생활이 어려운 분들에게 도움을 주고자 매월 1회 다양한 종류의 생필품을 3차례 후원했으며, 희망나눔상자는 생계 위기로 먹거리와 생필품이 필요한 시민 누구나 이용 가능하도록 행정복지센터에 설치됐고, 공동모금회에 기탁된 물품과 지역사회 기부자들의 참여로 지난 4월부터 운영되고 있다고 했다.

한영수 상패동장은 “지역주민들의 기부가 점차 늘어 후원품목이 다양해지면서 희망나눔상자 이용자들의 큰 호응이 있다. 더 많은 동민들이 이용할 수 있도록 홍보를 열심히 하겠다”고 전했다.
