[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 21일 동두천시 상패동 지역자율방재단은 자연재난 대비 취약지역에 대한 사전 예찰활동을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

상패동 지역자율방재단은 관내 원활한 재해구호 활동을 위해 지난 4월에 구성됐으며, 지난 여름철에도 폭염취약계층에게 냉방물품을 전달한 바 있고, 이번 예찰 활동에서는 상패동 재해위험지구를 포함하여 재난취약예상지역을 집중 순찰했으며, 순찰을 통해 점검한 사항을 참고하여 앞으로의 재난 상황에 대비할 예정이라고 했다.

이영자 상패동 지역자율방재단장은 “평상시 재난취약지역 사전점검을 철저히 하여 주민피해 예방에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다. 

한영수 상패동장은 “재난예방을 위한 예찰활동의 중요성을 인식하고 취약지역 집중순찰을 실시한 지역자율방재단의 노고에 감사드린다”라고 전했다.
