[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시 송산2동주민센터는 통장협의회 강경자 회장 등 임원진이 100일간 사랑릴레이 배턴 잇기 운동의 성공을 응원하며 성금 50만 원을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

송산2동 통장협의회는 지난 11월 2일에도 어려운 이웃을 위해 써달라며 38개 통장의 마음을 담아 성금 100만 원을 기부하기도 했으며, 이와 별개로 임원진이 솔선수범해 개인별로 성금을 잇따라 기부하며 희망의 나눔 온도를 높이고 있다고 했다.

강경자 송산2동 통장협의회 회장은 “본격적인 겨울이 시작되면서 도움이 필요한 이웃들에게 조금이나마 따뜻한 위로가 됐으면 좋겠다. 앞으로도 지역복지를 위해 솔선수범해 나눔과 봉사를 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

안윤배 송산2동장은 “어려운 이웃을 먼저 생각하는 마음으로 나눔을 실천해 훈훈한 온기를 더해주신 통장협의회 임원진께 감사드린다”며 “소외된 이웃 없이 모두가 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 잘 전달하겠다”고 밝혔다.
