[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 24일 포천동지역사회보장협의체는 성탄절을 맞아 취약계층 아동을 위한 크리스마스 행사를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 크리스마스 행사는 포천동지역사회보장협의체 위원들이 산타클로스로 분장해 14명의 아동에게 크리스마스 케이크와 과자, 정성껏 준비한 선물을 전달하며 희망의 메시지를 전했다고 했다.

김태석 포천동장은 “취약계층 아동들이 따뜻하게 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 후원해 주시는 분들의 소중한 뜻에 감사드린다.”라며 “코로나19로 많이 지쳐있을 아이들이 이번 깜짝 선물로 따뜻하고 행복한 크리스마스를 보내기를 바라며, 이웃에게 나눔의 온정을 전하는 분위기가 조성되길 희망한다.”라고 전했다.

[Reporter Il-jung Kim = Northern Gyeonggi/Gangwon] On December 24, the Pocheon-dong Community Security Council announced that they had held a Christmas event for children from vulnerable groups on the occasion of Christmas.

At this Christmas event, members of the Pocheon-dong Community Security Council dressed up as Santa Claus and delivered a message of hope to 14 children by delivering Christmas cakes, sweets, and carefully prepared gifts.

Tae-seok Kim, Mayor of Pocheon-dong, said, "I am grateful for the precious will of those who support so that children from disadvantaged classes can spend the winter warmly." He said, "I hope that the children who will be very tired from Corona 19 will spend a warm and happy Christmas with this surprise gift, and I hope that it will create an atmosphere that conveys the warmth of sharing to neighbors."
